Brian is a self taught photographer and an outdoor enthusiast with a deep appreciation of nature and wildlife. Seeking to surround himself in the beauty and wonders of nature Brian through his photography seeks to capture inspiring moments. Translating his experiences to photographs allows Brian to share his inspiration as well as a small slice of the beauty, power and scale of the world we share.
Brian is committed to conservation and the protection of ecosystems and wildlife while still providing and maintaining resources for humans. Brian believes strongly that we need to protect species and their habitat.
Brian was born in Missoula, Montana and started fly-fishing on the Bitterroot River at a young age. His outdoor interests have evolved to include hiking, mountain biking, river rafting, skiing, and scuba diving.
Brian makes every effort not to disturb or stress wild animals and all of his limited edition prints are taken in the wild and not in captive environments or "Game farms".
